JELLO PRETZEL SALAD

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels

  • 3/4 cup butter, melted

  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

  • 1 (6 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jell-O®

  • 2 cups boiling water

  • 16 oz. fresh strawberries sliced



Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar and press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form a crust.

  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until set. Cool in fridge for 30 minutes.

  4. While crust is baking, dissolve gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water. Set aside to cool to room temperature.

  5. In a large mixing bowl cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread mixture onto cooled crust and put back into fridge for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of cream cheese mix. Pour gelatin over the top and put back in the fridge to set - about 4 hours.
